General Information

The 2015 Greater Long Island Dental Meeting will be held at the Hilton Huntington Hotel in Melville, New York on Tuesday, April 14th and Wednesday, April 15th.

All sessions will be held in the hotel facilities, including full and half-day scientific programs and clinics with over 145 Exhibitions displaying the latest in technology, equipment, supplies and services. The Exhibition Hall will open on Tuesday, April 14th at 5:00 pm. A $1,000 door prize raffle ($500 cash & $500 merchandise credit) will be offered to the first 500 doctors. We invite you to our complimentary Cocktail Reception, featuring live entertainment with participating Exhibitors holding raffles at their respective booths. Don’t miss this fun event and a chance to win multiple prizes!! Wednesday, April 15th will feature a fantastic speaker line-up where up to 14 hours of CEU hours can be obtained. A complementary happy hour from 5:00 pm  – 6:00 pm will conclude the 49th Annual Session of GLIDM.

Back Again by popular demand! The 11th Annual Photography Contest – $250 for first prize and certificates awarded to second and third place winners. Look for the Photography Contest form on the website home page,

Table Clinics will be held in the Exhibition Hall on Wednesday, April 15th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Two First Place Prizes: Residents/Students – First Place $ 250 and Hygienists – First Place $250.

Pre-Registration on-line, by Mail or Fax:
Pre-registration must be received no later than April 10, 2015. See the on-line registration form and all the course listings at Pre-Registration form. On-line registration will close thereafter.

On-Site Registration:
Registration will be located on the main floor of the hotel. An additional fee of $25 will be added to the registration fee for all on-site registration of scientific sessions. To view the Exhibition Hall is always free of charge and can be obtained at Registration.

Please note that course registration will be on a space available basis.




COURSES AT A GLANCE. Click on the desired presenter and an overview of the course and fee schedule will be depicted. Take one full day course or two half-day courses and select an evening course for FREE (excludes CPR) for the following fees shown below:

  • ADA Members – $ 225
  • Non-ADA Members – $ 275
  • Young Dentists – $75 (doctors in practice 10 years or less)
  • Hygienist / Dental Assistant / Staff – $ 100
  • Students / Residents  – FREE (proper identification is required)
  • Faculty - $ 175
  • Lab Technicians – $50

PLEASE NOTE: There are no registration fees to attend GLIDM - course fees only as shown above or single course fees as depicted on each scientific course.

The more courses you attend, the better the value!! Take advantage of this great offer to see world-class speakers in your own backyard. All registrants are invited free of charge to our complimentary Cocktail Reception on Tuesday, April 14th. Enter to win prizes from our Exhibitors who will be holding raffles at their booth beginning at 5:00 pm. A “Happy Hour” cocktail reception will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at 5:00 pm to close our annual session. Pre-registration is required - deadline April 10, 2015.

Two hours of continuing education credit will be given on Tuesday, April 14th for technical exhibits from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (sign in sheets will be provided at the entrance to the Exhibition Hall). Table Clinics will be held on Wednesday, April 15th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Participants can earn ½ hour of CE credit per clinic.     

Mandated Courses: Risk Management, Infection Control and/or CPR. If you are only registering for any of the mandated courses listed  – you will only be charged $100 per mandated course. Complementary cocktail receptions in the Exhibition Hall on both Tuesday & Wednesday are included in this fee. No other fees apply.

Exhibition Hall Only – All Registrants – FREE (includes complimentary cocktail parties on Tuesday & Wednesday – pre-registration is required).

The first 500 attendees to enter the Exhibition Hall on Tuesday, April 8th will be entered in a $1,000 drawing ($500 cash & $500 merchandise credit)!! The winner will be selected on Tuesday, April 14th at 8:00 pm in the Exhibition Hall.

If you wear a pacemaker, we do suggest that you avoid being in the vicinity of demonstrations of the following, since these could cause an erratic performance of the pacemaker: electrosurgery, ultrasonics, induction casing, electronically controlled timers, electric pulp testers, wireless intercom systems or any arcing electric motors.
