“Oral Pathology Updates and Interesting Cases”
This course will review the importance of differential diagnoses through regularly encountered clinical case scenarios that are nearly identical with vastly different definitive diagnoses. These include the periapical radiolucency, the bump on the lip, the non-healing tongue ulcer, and the suspicious/malignant-appearing lesions. The course will highlight several interesting cases encountered recently in my practice and my thoughts on how to approach their diagnoses.
Upon completion of this course, participants will understand new and emerging developments in the field of oral and maxillofacial pathology as well as appreciate and consider abnormal presentations and rare pathologies in their day-to-day practice.
