Dr. Gigi Meinecke
Dr. Gigi Meinecke has been active in the field of facial injectables since 2004. In 2013 she established FACES Education, providing cosmetic and therapeutic injectable training to medical and dental professionals. The program distinguishes itself through its rigorous emphasis on comprehensive facial anatomy and evidence-based protocols, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and esthetic outcomes. In addition to teaching nationally, Dr. Meinecke is Facial Injectables Faculty at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. In addition to creating the BU injectable curriculum, Dr. Meinecke directed the program for nearly a decade.
Dr. Meinecke is a facial anatomy pro-sector and provides litigation support as an expert witness in the injectable domain.
Her publications include “Applications for Facial Injectables in Dentistry,” “Lower Face Influence on Total Facial Esthetics,” and “When and How to Say No to Facial Injectable Patients.” She is author of the book, “Start and Grow Your Cosmetic Injectable Practice.”
Dr. Meinecke remains active in organized dentistry and has served on the Academy of General Dentistry’s
Dental Practice Council, the AGD’s Legislative and Governmental Affairs Council and is a past Chair of the ADA Council on Communications. She is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Meinecke maintains a private practice limited to facial injectables in Potomac, Maryland.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of head and neck anatomy relevant to toxin applications
- Identify and evaluate appropriate conditions and indications for toxin treatment
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Demonstrate proper injection techniques through one-on-one instructor guided exercises
- Recognize, prevent, and manage potential complications
- Implement proper documentation and photography protocols for treatment planning
